Hello from New York!

My name is Ashe - let’s talk Dragon Age. This is the point when I usually have my intro play and some kind of image pops up, but because I’m in New York and I only have a little laptop to work with, bare with me.

Today was an interesting day because Bioware announced the uber edition, the Inquisitor’s edition we’ve been waiting for. And guess what - it has a map. That you can stab.

The Inquisitor’s edition has a bunch of goodies! Straight from the Gamestop site:

  • The cloth map of Thedas
  • A Dragon Age tarot card set
  • A six-piece lock tool set
  • Four map markers that we’ve seen time and time again in the concept art
  • An Inquisitor’s badge
  • Quill and inkpot
  • An Inquisitor’s journal
  • Orlesian coins
  • A steelbook case for your copy of the game

And a copy of Dragon Age Inquisition: the Deluxe Edition.

Yes, the deluxe edition. This means that everything, the Flames of Inquisition armor, weapons, mount, the Skyhold Throne, the Bog Unicorn, and the Red Hart are all yours. By the way, fun fact: it’s a Red Hart. Not a Red Hart Halla. According to Mike Laidlaw, that was a mistake on Origin and they haven’t fixed it yet.

The set can be yours for $170 US dollars. The game releases out at October 7, 2014. If you ask me, I think this is awesome and one of the cooler Collectors editions I’ve seen yet for a game. I’m still on the fence however, because I’m not personally a fan of staying in line with a bunch of people at Gamestop. I’d rather be already pre-loaded on Origin and ready to go at midnight, but I’m so torn because I want to stab that map! Are you going to get the Inquisitor’s edition? My name is Ashe - it’s time for me to go but I will see you next time. Bye!
